T.J. Doyle was born in
New York City and earned a Civil Engineering degree from
Manhattan College. He entered the Civil Engineer
Corps (the Officer Corps of the famous SEABEES) of the US
Navy, retiring as a Captain. He joined Bechtel
International as Advisor to the Saudi Mayor of the City
of Jubail in Saudi Arabia where he and his wife, Peggy,
lived for three and a half years.
Tom "retired" to
Hayes, Virginia, and began to write fiction, completing
six mysteries, including The Bend Sinister.
He is married to Peggy Wood, also from New York City, a
free lance writer. They have 7 children and 24
grandchildren.
