While Alice has been to Crater Lake several times, our first (and only so far)  visit together  occured in October 2000.   We stayed at the "refurbished" Crater Lake Lodge which still doesn't have any modern ammenities like phones or televisions in the rooms. It's nice to get away from technology sometimes.
