Bruce will be an effective leader for Arizona by:

 

·        Introducing legislation to help make our education system the best in the nation

·        Seeking to improve public safety and increase punishment for crimes against women and children

·       Fighting to help those less fortunate in our State

·       Working to cut taxes and excessive spending

 

     “We have a great state with a wonderful diversity of people.   However, our legislators have let us down, allowing our state to fall to the bottom of the barrel in education while watching the crime rate soar.  We can do better.  It is time for a change.  As your State Senator, I will work across party lines to find practical solutions to help our state without worrying about the politics involved.  I will do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.  I will put principle above politics.”

 

I have lived in Tucson , Arizona for 30 years.  My family moved here from Joliet, Illinois in 1972.  I went to Palo Verde High School and the University of Arizona.  My wife, Priscilla, and I have three children: Nicolyn, 19, Clinton, 16, and Nathan Paul, 7.  I am committed to traditional family values.

 

My education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Chapman University .

 

I  have taught in the Tucson Unified School District for the past twelve years.  While there are many hard working people in the District, I have seen many poor decisions made which I believe are detrimental to your child’s education.  I know that with the right leadership, Arizona can go from one of the worst States in education to the best.
