Welcome to my home page. This web site is an ongoing project on the Grimes Genealogy and many other family names that I’m researching. If you are searching these names as well, then feel free to look at my site. I’m trying to trace the Grimes name back at far as I can. I’ve been told that we came over from Ireland. But so far I can only trace them from West Virginia to Pennsylvania. I would also like to find the connection between my grandmother Zaradia Buchanan Grimes and James Buchanan the 15^th president. My father told me that my grandfather had inherited a small amount of money from the James Buchanan estate.
