Always the life of the party, with his bright and mischevious smile, Bleys will never lose face in his daughter's eyes.

A powerful sorceress with a knack for Tantric Sex Magicks, Icaria did the best she could to raise two daughters as a "working woman". Like Bleys, she wasn't always there -- duty oftentimes kept her busy for long stretches of time. But when she was, she'd shower her girls with all the affection she could muster.

Which was, to say, quite a lot.

The close sibling connection between Gily & Chelle can best be seen in person. Since young girls in Stratus, they have forged a bond that not even marriage to an outsider could put asunder.

That's not to say they're inseperable -- they do, in fact, have seperate lives and loves. But their relationship transcends the physical plane into an emotional tie so strong, one has been known to feel the other's cry for help from miles away, and even across Shadow.

If there is one person that Gilian would willingly, and without question, lay down her life for, it's Rochelle.

Bleys said she was "a little different". He was right. It recently came to Gily's attention that Asha suffered severe head trauma as a child and until recently was in a coma.

Asha is further proof that Gily missed the musical bus. Even Rochelle threatened to sell her baby grand piano after hearing this young woman play the pipes.

Gilian's feelings toward Asha are mixed: on the one hand, she is blood kin and daddy obviously cares about her; on the other, she's a child's mind in an adult body and as such has little communication skills. Gily's not ashamed, just... unsure.

Friend and lover.

For the longest time, she knew him only by reputation -- he was a distant cousin from the Courts of Chaos. Then quite by accident, just over six years ago, she met him face-to-face at a street fair in San Francisco.

Gilian adores Merlin: he's fun, he's surprisingly down-to-earth, he's an accomplished wielder of the magickal arts -- not to mention devilishly handsome (in human form)...

After years of mutual flirtation, the two recently began an exclusive (if informal) courtship, sparked by a trip to Chelle's place in New Orleans.

Though the ramifications of a twixt-Reality relationship have yet to dawn on her (she's got no clue what Chaos is like, what the full extent of his station is within the Court, and has yet to meet his mother), the general concensis is it's about frickin' time.

Of all her relations in Amber (aside from her father), Aunt Fiona is the one person Gilian feels she could confide in, and not be taken advantage of.

Powerful with a playful side, Fiona has been a welcomed instructor of the arcane when Bleys was not around, or Icaria was tied up in Queenly affairs. She holds an esteemed place of merit in Gily's arsenal of mentors.

Gilian met her with a shining endorsement from Rochelle already in mind. Not that it mattered much: Gily would have liked her nonetheless.
