WHERE: Thomasville, GA. Ride the unspoiled country roads of the southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle before they get all built up like south Florida’s roads. Do a tri-state tour of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Take a tour down to the Gulf Coast.

TELL ME MORE: The site for this year’s Spring Fling is about 30 miles north east of Tallahassee. It is a smaller town, meaning less traffic to contend with on your way to and from the back roads. It is close enough to Tallahassee that you can still do the canopy roads around there as well. Once you are out of town nearly all the roads are lightly traveled county roads, a very nice change from the congested roads of south and east Florida.

We have a block of rooms being held until 20 March at Quality Inn and Suites. Price is $55 per night. Two room suites are also available. Be sure to tell them you are with Honda Sport Touring Association. The motel has a lounge and small restaurant with happy hour from 4 to 7 PM – a good place to swap lies after Saturday’s ride. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and if you wish to drive your motorcycle there are more downtown. The hotel layout is U shaped and you can request a room facing the courtyard or the parking lot. Note the pool and patio in the courtyard.
