City Lights

Nebraska is not totally rural. There are a few larger cities. The largest is Omaha.

This is the downtown at night in December. Way too much money is wasted on putting up, taking down, and lighting the downtown in a show of Christmas extravagance, but people seem to love it. We are so fond of this extravagance that we are are willing to waste tax dollars on this rather than on programs such as those that help the poor.

The results are stunning...like a city turned to fairyland at night.
