The Rodeo

The rodeo is where we can watch the cowboys and cowgirls show off their skills in riding and roping through competitions in various skill events.

The rodeo skills are similar to the types of activities cowboys and cowgals do in their work on a ranch caring for cattle.

Some of the events include riding bareback on a bull or a wild horse to see how long a cowboy can stay on, roping a calf then tying its feet as a cowboy has to do before giving it medication or branding it, and barrel racing, which is seeing how fast one can ride around some markers.
