My family at my brothers farm in Grand Island

We celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary and their 80th birthdays at my brother's farm in Grand Island, Nebraska. Mom and Dad were both born in 1922.

My husband, Randy, is a hard working guy. He works two jobs. One is in the personnel department at Boys and Girls Town in Omaha and the other is in the Nebraska Air National Guard. I am very proud of how much he has achieved. He was recently promoted to the rank of General in the National Guard.

I have three children, Tamera, James and Kandelyn. Tamera is very outgoing and always has a smile. She is a good artist and enjoys crocheting, making quilts, doing ceramics and scrapbooking. she has three children, Michaela, Alexander and Nicholas. James is a trucker and he and his wife, Michelle own a gravel hauling business. Kandelyn is currently attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, studying biology.

My brother John, and his wife, Theresa, have a farm in Grand Island, Nebraska. They have a nice vegetable garden and sell some of their vegetables from the garden. They also have llamas, horses, and chickens. John owns a bicycle shop in Grand Island, Wayne Cyclery, and Theresa works at a garden nursery in Grand Island.

My sister, Annette, works as a planner in Minnesota. Her daughter, Correna just got married this summer.
