As Sheriff, your job is to create a WANTED poster of the most wanted outlaw in the Wild West that will lead to his/her capture. To be successful follow these steps:
Research and learn about the many outlaws of the Wild West.
You must decide who is the most wanted outlaw by learning about MANY of them. Select the Outlaws button under Resources to get started.
Get to know your chosen outlaw well!
After you have learned about the many outlaws, you will need to choose ONE. Learn about the details of his/her life in order to track this outlaw down! What crimes has he/she committed? Where might the outlaw be found? What type of reward is offered for his/her capture? Again, use the Outlaws button under Resources to do your research.
Create a WANTED poster.
Your poster must capture the essence of who your outlaw is. It should be 11" X 14" in size, should include a picture of the outlaw, and should look authentic - you may use whatever drawing/writing tools and paper you choose to achieve this goal. Select the Posters button under Resources to see examples of WANTED posters.
Present your WANTED poster to the "community".
You will have the opportunity to share your poster with the class.
