NC 18 Business: Serves Lenoir. Looks to have been created in 1960 as a renumbering of NC 18-A. Of course way back in the day this was mainline NC 18. NC 18 Business follows W. Harper St from US 64/NC 18 west of town, then splits into one-way split streets in downtown: EB uses Harper Ave while WB uses Ridge St and W Ave NW. I have no information on how long the one-way splits have been there but it goes back to at least 1982. NC 90 duplexes with NC 18 Business east from downtown back to US 64/NC 18 just short of US 321.
