News.

(March 2003) NOTICE. I have moved off the primenet website and am now at members.cox.net. I have yet to change any of the app documentation to reflect that. All primenet email references in the app documentation should be redirected: nelanSPAMBEGONE@cox.net (ignore the SPAMBEGONE part), and the website primenet.com/~georgen is now at members.cox.net/nelan. I would like to spend more time on app but I have been using it frequently for some time now and it appears to be quite stable.

(29 May 2000) App 2.2 released. This release incorporates new features and two bug fixes. I have also added a brief discussion of where things stand as of app 2.2.

(26 Feb 2000) App 2.1 released. This release is primarily a linux/g++ port.

(22 Jan 2000) App 2.0 released. This release was originally going to be 1.1, but the number of changes considerably exceeded the number originally anticipated, including a substantial number of new features; only a few bugs were fixed however (only a few were found). While I am still thinking about a standalone tutorial, this release does not include one because the documentation has also been considerably improved (I hope) and now contains quite a bit of tutorial material in itself.

(29 Oct 1999) Added a preview link for changes to be included in the next release, consisting of an evolving list of new features, fixed bugs, and known unfixed bugs.

(14 Oct 1999) I am planning to release app version 1.1 sometime in the early part of 2000. This release will be mostly cosmetic with perhaps some modest additional functionality (and I'm thinking about a tutorial).
