The Body

I don’t know what body style it is or who manufactured it, but it is a Manx clone by the looks of it. The hood scoop and the rear low back with trunk lid make it very unique since it is all factory molded this way. I’ve not seen another body style like it.

As I said it sat in the outdoors since 1983 when I got it. In this time it lost is shiny coat and was dull and pitted. When I removed it from the original chassis in was never bolted down on the new one and has warped out of shape and cracked in some spots.

I started working on the body taking it all apart, sanding, filling in the holes, fixing the cracks and so on. I did this while waiting for my new Berrien chassis to arrive.

I then washed it and you can see what the color did look like when I got it by were the gas tank sits.
