Newport Harbor Exchange Club

First chartered in 1926, then re-chartered in 1959, the NHEC has been supporting the worthy causes in Newport Beach and the surrounding area for 75 years.

What's new is more of the same.  The club continues to work hard to benefit our community and increase it's participation in it.  Plans for this year include one, possibly two, new Freedom Shrines; dedication of your new web site; increased donations to local students and teachers; implementation of a new Flag Retirement Ceremony; an American Flag Kit sales program and larger than ever contributions to child abuse prevention.

The National Exchange Club has chosen child abuse prevention as it's primary charitable cause.  The Newport Harbor Exchange Club has distinguished itself as a founding member and solid supporter of the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center.  The Center has grown into one of the largest Exchange Club sponsored child abuse prevention centers in the nation.  Our club is proud of all it's members who have donated time and money to the OCCAPC.  Click on the following link for more information about the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center - http://www.brightfutures4kids.org/
