RecruitmentKnowing that the life-blood of any service club is recruiting new members, the club holds an annual new member recruitment drive. Each member is asked to bring friends and business associates to our weekly meetings and let them see what Newport Harbor Exchange is all about. Current club membership hovers between 80 and 90 members. Our current goal is to grow to over 100 members. New Club BuildingService clubs all over the country are experiencing declining membership and are losing clubs as a result. In an effort to keep the service efforts of Exchange alive, our club is joining a National Exchange effort to create new clubs. Our current efforts center around creating new clubs at large corporations and professional firms. We hope to report successes in this area soon. EducationExchange has a long and proud history. Each year the club holds new member educational meetings. Led by the club's active Past Presidents group, each meeting covers the history of Exchange, both nationally and locally. Officer InstallationOnce each year the club celebrates the induction of the newly elected officers for the coming year.
