Hi. This used to be the page where I posted personal news, hobbies, and other things that had nothing to do with my musical career. I've moved most of that stuff over to my blog, where it's easier to update.
Boring Introductory Stuff
I
live in sunny Mesa, Arizona, part of the greater Phoenix urban
sprawl, but if you're reading this you probably know me so you know
that already. I fell in love with the desert when I first moved here
in '83, and now that I have my own house, working on the desert
landscaping has become a major hobby, although having grown up in the
Pacific Northwest I really miss being able to plant things and just
expect them to grow. We get 8 inches of rain here on a good year, and
it's been a long time since we've had a good year for rain.
I'm a PADI-certified Advanced Open Water Diver, but that's not what I'm doing in the wetsuit at the top of this page. (Hint: it's in New Zealand.) I do a fair bit of travelling, whenever I can accumulate the vacation time. I'm big on "active" tours; I don't see much point in spending 16 hours on a plane in order to sit on a beach or ride around in a bus. Back home in Arizona I like to get out and hike at least once a month.
