1963 GT Hawk and 1955 coupe. Notice the tailpipes are much
farther apart on the coupe.
Here's the 1955-57 style exhaust cutout on the gravel deflector (part
no. 536828P.) I believe that 535135P (single exhaust) is similar
but only has one cutout on the passenger side. No, those backup
lights are not stock for any Studebaker - they're VW units. I
would assume that 535135P was also used on 1953 and 1954 models but I
do not have that book to verify this.
Here's a '63 GT Hawk with the 1544602P gravel deflector. I would
assume that 1544601P is similar but again only has one cutout on the
passenger side. This would have been for six cylinder models only
as as far as I know, all V8 C-K models after 1955 were equipped with
dual exhausts.
