About

Beyond our usual practice times we also try to participate in other Juggling events. Here are a few on our schedule.

We juggle every Wednesday night from 6:30 until 8:30 in Lafreniere Park. That is a continuing event on our calendar.

NOTE: Our pavillion has been closed for repairs and it tends to be cold and rainy during the winter here, attendance  may be spotty. Call us fair weather jugglers if you dare, but email us to be certain we'll be there.

The Atlanta Jugglers Association invites you to join us for the 25th Annual Groundhog Day Juggler's Festival Jan. 31 - Feb. 2, 2003
Visit their site for more details. It is coming up, so make your plans now! (anyone want to share a room?)

Hello all. I would like to extend an invitation to all jugglers, unicyclists, clowns and ghouls to join the New Orleans School of Circus Arts and the Panorama Jazz Band on Thursday, October 31 as we parade in Jim Monaghan, Jr.'s Halloween Parade through the French Quarter.

Students and instructors from NOSCA will be tumbling, juggling and rolling through and we welcome all others to make our presence bigger and better. All are welcome to join to dance, perform, or carry flags, and have a grand time.

On Monday, September 16, 2002 Lucas Cox, that quiet angel and unfathomable clown, rode his bicycle to the spirit world, with a boost from a car door and an eighteen wheel flat bed truck.

On Monday, September 30th there will be a RIDE FOR LUCAS, anyone with a bike, rollerblades, skateboard, shopping cart, whatever, put on bells and gentle noisemakers and we'll meet at Sophie Wright and Magazine at 4PM to raise awareness about the dangers of doors, combustion engines and eighteen wheelers.

PARADE! Saturday, October 6th. Rounding up by 6:30pm
David of NOSCA (New Orleans School of Circus Arts) asked me to send this parade invite to you:

I would like to invite the Juggling Club out to parade with students of NOSCA the evening of Saturday, October 5th for Art for Art Sake on Julia St. We staged a very successful parade last year and they have asked us back again. How can we refuse? Music will be provided by Benny Jones and company, one of the founding members of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and player with the Treme Brass Band. We'd like to really make a scene to support the event and secretly promote the presence of circus and variety arts in New Orleans. Please pass on the invitation, if you would.

Parade with the New Orleans School of Circus Arts at Art for Art Sake. Saturday, October 6th. Rounding up by 6:30pm to roll at 7:00 PM SHARP!!

If interested, please call David
All unicyclist, jugglers, those who enjoy parading to second line music and want to wave a flag (we've got lots!) or just watch, please join us!!

Jugglers of the world are being asked to unite for World Juggling Day 2002, a unique web-based initiative to highlight the wonders of object manipulation! The International Jugglers' Association presents the event on June 15, 2002, which will involve individual jugglers and juggling clubs around the globe. Todd Smith Products is the event's worldwide sponsor. Other supporting sponsors are listed on the World Juggling Day web site ( http://www.juggle.org ).
