We conduct and participate in wine tastings in various venues.

Budget Crisis

As with any organization, finances are always an issue with us. We recently had a serious budget crisis.

The Officers of NoVaCa Wine Associates took immediate action to deal with the budget crisis.
No efforts were spared to reduce the surplus.

First, the Executive Director and the Treasurer conferred with the sommelier at the Ritz.

Based on his recommendations, despite obvious fatigue (especially on the part of the Tresurer), they returned to the Ritz to work on the problem.

The problem remained, however, so the Executive Director flew to Berlin to continue trying to reduce the surplus.

The budget surplus reduction expert felt that Mardi Gras was the right time to address the problem.
He suggested attendance at il Martedi Grasso dinner at Maestro.

The treasury surplus currently seems to be under control, but constant vigilance will be required.
