Mary Jane is my scruffy little
girl. She is the smallest of the four ferrets & weighs in about
1 1/4 pounds. She also used to have very short, bristly hair.
Before her surgery, her fur had started to fall out in small patches &
she had sort of a rat tail, but with a little tuft of hair on the tip of
her. But her hair has finally come back! In April she grew fur
all over her stomach, body & tail! And it is now getting softer
& fuller. Her tail is actually quite full.
MJ also
tends to eat everything in sight, so I have to watch her
carefully!
Mary Jane is the one who has a place for
everything. All of her toys have to be in the proper
place. She gets very mad if anyone takes them & will chase down
the offender & put the toy back where it belongs.
Mary Jane is
also the one who will let me hold her the most after she falls
asleep. She loves to be held & if I move her, she will actually
crawl back into my arms to go back to sleep. When she first
came to my house, she had nightmares (she whimpered in her sleep).
However I would pick her up & gently pet her & she would soon stop
whimpering. She hasn't had any nightmares since!
Secret :
Mary Jane snores!
