This is my practice area. What was once called the bonus room over the garage is now called the
music room, housing all my gear (1/2 of which is in a walk-in closet on the other side of the room). You also don't see is my son's drum set on the other side of the room.
My current practice rig is my mini-PA feeding a couple of Fender floor monitors against
the wall, GNX3 mfx pedal, and a Gibson ES-135.
I am toying with a design to build a stage to hold all my gear and my son's drum set as
we'd like to re-do the room in a musical theme. Imagine if you will, a raised stage area
with running lights, some kind of musical theme carpet, and music-related posters.
In addition to my stuff and my son's drums, the room has a 1970 vintage SS amp in one corner and a music stand with a jazz music book on it in the other as well as well as a full-sized
couch and a love seat - all out of camera-shot. The room is quite large actually. You are only seeing one side of the room in the pix.
I love having a dedicated space and have finally gotten to the point in my life wher that is possible and am thankful for the blessing.
