The TV Console is "free standing" in that it can be "unplugged" and moved out of the way in order to access the engine compartment hatch. In addition to the cup holders at the rear, the brushed aluminum top surface makes an excellent resting place for the laptop computer navigation system! |

The "Woofer" speakers are installed on each side, at the lower rear of the Console. Wiring from the TV, the antenna signal booster, and from the speakers can be seen here behind the Console. |

Although there is a separate connector on the coax signal cable, all other connections to the Console are through a multiple wire connector with a polarized, rubberized, connector similar to a connector used for trailer lights and brakes. Just one wire connector and the coax to disconnect in order to move the Console out of the way! |

In this view, you can see the "cup holders" in the top, the "piano hinge" pivot for the TV, and one of the speakers at the lower right side of the console. |

With the TV in position for viewing, the signal amplifier can be seen on the back wall of the console. You can also make out the two metal fingers that have been "cranked out" to support the TV in the upright position. |

In this view, you can see the "bellcrank" handle that extends the metal support fingers. To put the TV away, you just lift up on the front very slightly, then operate the little crank shown here in the upper center, then lower the TV into stowed position. |
