Motor Voter

"Motor Voter" is the name of a Federal Law that was passed in the mid-90's. The intent of this law was to encourage more people to vote by making it easier for them to register to vote. This law allows states to register their citizens at the same time they receive their driver’s license. On the face of it, this sounds good.

BUT - there is a problem!

When a person goes to the State Department of Public Safety  to obtain a driver’s license, they are, at that time, given the opportunity to register to vote. The problem with this is that they only need their brand new driver’s license to register to vote in OUR elections! The concern is that now, in the state of Oklahoma that many illegal aliens already have received a valid Oklahoma driver’s license - and the opportunity to vote in our elections! How many of these unverified, unproven people have taken this opportunity to register and vote in OUR elections? How many have, in fact, voted in OUR elections? It is a known fact that massive voter fraud has taken place in other states, such as California.

We need to curtail this problem, before it happens here.

To do so, it will be necessary to identify each and every driver’s license applicant as a valid Oklahoma citizen. Within the framework of our current law, this is not possible.
