What is the OPCHA Environmental Control Committee?
The Environmental Control Committee (ECC) is the governing body granted by our community’s Declarations of Covenants to oversee compliance and review and approve changes to our community’s environment.  This includes the common areas and the private properties contained in and governed by our governing documents.  The committee is composed of OPCHA homeowners that have the same vested interest in maintaining the community’s attractiveness and property values as the other homeowners.

Who is on our ECC?
The ECC is your OPC neighbors and friends.  The committee is currently composed of eight  homeowners that live throughout the community.  The members are:

Paul Seay (Chair), 104 Flag Creek, 868-8828
Mason Aminali, 322 Quarter Track, 867-7559
Chris Durand, 304 Quarter Track, 868-4614
Roger Howell, 106 Port Cove, 223-4133
Bob Kuth, 139 Chinquapin Orchard, 659-0034
Fred Cheeks, 101 Chinquapin Orchard, 868-0024
Jeff Viken, 314 Chinquapin Orchard, 868-5286
Jim Woods, 311 Quarter Track, 868-7170

The ECC is not the community aesthetics police.  Sometimes we do not discover non-compliant issues for quite some time.  However, when we do, either from questions by other community residents whether something was approved or an ECC member noticing a change, we investigate.  Our approach will be simple:  a friendly discussion to understand what has been done, if it is compliant or not and a recommendation of what can be done to bring a violation into compliance.
