OPCHA No Soliciting Policy

OPCHA has always had a No Soliciting Policy; however, many solicitors are still coming door to door selling goods or services. Instead of confronting these solicitors please download the  NO  SOLICITING  POLICY and give this handout to the Solicitor.

The following is the OPCHA No Soliciting Policy:

The Olde Port Homeowner Association has enacted a strict No Soliciting Policy, and a "No Soliciting" sign is conspicuously posted at the front entrance.

Door to Door Soliciting- is not permitted by individuals or organizations within the perimeter of Olde Port Cove including common areas, parking areas or on the property of a homeowner.

Exceptions- Accredited non-profit organizations such as boy scouts, girl scouts and local school clubs are permitted to conduct door to door fund raisers.

Penalties- Homeowners should document and report all violators to the Olde Port Cove Crime Watch Committee. If the solicitor will not leave or becomes agitated, immediately call the Sheriff's Office Ph. 911 for assistance.
