The belly in my lid
seems to hold the heat in better. It was an
accident as the weight sagged on
casting. EL BLASTO..2000!!!! 50 Pontiac trunk stars
in the making. Hit it with a light buff and was
happy with the finish.Off to the plating
tanks. Pontiac stars still in
the pot!
This is a hobby that I started to mainly reproduce old deteriorated car parts. Sometimes if the piece is so bad its easier to make a new one then try to rework the old one for plating. Since I have started this I have also been making some machine parts and a broken antique bed part. It will probably get bigger also as my imagination continues to dream up other things to make!
