I did a lot of cabinet making for about 4 years. This really helped me in making patterns for my metal casting. It also paid the bills!

This is a wall unit that I made for my library. It is all oak. The pillers are made out of 6 mitered and then splined strips of oak. I then turned them down on a lathe I modified for it. They are 4 feet tall! It was a job but I am ver y proud of it now.

This is still our table and chairs for the family. All oak and ash. I turned the legs and backs one at a time without a copy lathe
