The 25 room Tavern on
Mill Mountain, AKA the Rockledge Inn (built 1892). Later home to the
Mill Mountain Playhouse. Destroyed by fire in early '70s.

Knepp's Livery Stable,
downtown Roanoke, corner of Church St. and Jefferson. You can barely
make out the horses names, Sam and Ben, at bottom of picture. Later
it would be demolished to make room for the Williamson Building,
housing Graves-Humphreys, and later, the Sportsman Restaurant. See
page 66.

Old Ogden School on
Ogden Road. Replaced by PMI Petroleum Marketing bldg.
Garst Bros. Dairy on
Salem Ave. Now a janitorial supply.
