BEER BATTERED  SHRIMP

 1   lbs. peeled shrimp tails

2  cups corn flour

1   cup all purpose flour

1   tbsp. lemon juice

2   tbsp. olive oil

8  oz. evaporated milk

2  eggs  (beaten)

1  cup ice water

 red & black pepper

 

Soak shrimp in beer , 1 to 2 hours. 

Mix the all purpose flour & corn flour.

Then mix the other ingredients to make a batter.

Remove shrimp from beer & drain.

Dip shrimp in milk & egg dip, shake off excess , then coat with flours.

Fry in oil that is heated to 375 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes.

Remove, drain & place on paper towels or in a heavy brown paper bag.
