CREAM of BROCCOLI  SOUP

2  cups water

1   16 oz. package frozen cut broccoli

1/2  cup chopped yellow onions

1/2  cup butter

1/2  cup all purpose flour

6 cups milk

4   chicken bullion cubes

1  tsp. white pepper

 

Boil water, add broccoli, cover,

reduce heat & simmer 6 to 8 minutes.        

Saute’ onion in butter over low heat  9to 10 minutes.      

    Add flour, stirring until smooth.    

Gradually add milk & bullion cubes, cook over medium heat heat, stirring until thickened.  

Add broccoli water & pepper.   

Simmer 30-40 minutes
