Omaha Mining Company
1715 Leavenworth. Many locals still call this bar "The Run" out of habit. The Omaha Mining Company features seating around a large bar when you walk in. Dance floor in the next room. The downstairs bar opens after 9pm. This is a very popular place to be after hours (1:30AM Friday & Saturday nights). The after hours crowd tends to be quite young (under 21) and diverse (straight, gay, bi).
DC's Saloon
610 South 14th Street (Between Jackson & Jones). DC's is Omaha's gay country/western bar. It's around the corner from The Max. Look for daily drink specials. Sometimes there's a show on a Saturday or Sunday night. Several pool tables too. http://www.dcssaloonomaha.com

1417 Jackson Street. Long known as Omaha's premiere dance club. During the busiest hours, The Max is high energy, featuring five separate bar areas in its 12,000 square foot facility. Several pool tables & dart boards upstairs. A beautiful patio. Cover charge Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. Shows (usually drag, but not always) almost every Sunday night.
