PACE CAR REPLICA

The previous owner called and I picked up the front bumper inserts and floor mats.  The floor mats are not in very good condition, but I might be able to cast copies of the tri-oval.

The rubber tri-ovals have lots of wear, but I think I'll see if I can't cast some copies of these at a later date.

I don't like heat, so the summer months don't see much progress on outside projects like the Pace Car.  I have been collecting parts so when the weather gets a bit cooler (less hot?) I'll be able to get some stuff done.  As you can see from the above pictures, I have added a gray Dashmat and a 1989 Firebird steering wheel.   The steering wheel makes the weekly "exercise" a bit more enjoyable.   I drive the car for about 20 to 30 minutes every week or two (it'd be a lot more, but the A/C doesn't work and with temps over 100 degrees I'll settle for my air conditioned truck as a daily driver!)
