Both electric mirrors are inoperative.  As you can see from the above photos, the passenger side mirror is "adjusted" with a piece of aluminum foil.  To reduce costs and complexity, I'm going to replace the power mirrors with standard ones.  I hardly ever readjust my mirrors anyway, and replacement power mirrors are budget busters!

When I removed the passenger side mirror, I found the wires had been cut and taped together a few inches away from the connector.  It's amazing what you will find when you work on old cars.  I guess someone didn't know about the connector...

While I was in the area, I replaced the window filler seal with a used one that is in much better shape.

The window filler on the passenger side is broken where the front glass channel attaches to it.  I temporarily used a zip tie to keep the channel in place while I look for a new filler panel unit.

The mirrors I'm adding are from a teal colored car.  I'll repaint them later.  At least the mirror will stay where I put it now!
