WEEK 8 NEWS: Teams
with BYEs in their division only need 12 games to be eligible for playoffs and
16 games to be eligible for MVP.
WEEK 7
NEWS:
-There were some irregularities this week. For the second
season in a row, the Outsiders were involved in an altercation (this time
within their own team) which interrupted the match. They were winning 9-3
over WireWire at the time so the remaining points (7) will be split
between them, 3 each for a 12-6 score. Outsider Captain Chris Bardes has
been suspended from the ODC for one year. Teammate Joe Hinkel has been
suspended for Weeks 8-10.
-Homedale Breakfast Club added a new player (Chris "Luthrigchausen"?) 2
weeks past the deadline for adding new players and so forfeits any games he won
vs. Finn's Black & Blue. Chris L. is an illegal player and any
further games he plays will be forfeit. Teams, please make sure you have
enough players to get through a season by the Week 5 deadline. After that,
if you're shorthanded, you are supposed to just play with three or two or try to
reschedule your match.
-The Halfmoon Dartists were kind enough to reschedule their match vs. the
Diamond Dogs so that the Dogs could get hammered and watch LSU win
another CSW title in Omaha. Thanks, Dartists!
-TO ALL TEAMS: Please show good
sportsmanship by shaking your opponent's hand after your game BEFORE racing back
to your team and high-fiving every single one of them. That is considered
rude behavior and being a dick. Please, don't be a dick. The "D" in ODC is
for Darts, not dick. Thanks!
-PENALTIES: Iggy's Mongrels & Diamond Dogs,
Halfmoon Half-asses get -2 for no scores reported.
-TAKE NOTICE; The penalty rule (-5 points per week) will be
in effect next season for teams that have not paid ALL of their dues by Week 5.
We are still waiting for dues payments from Grit's, Homedale, Lotsa Luck,
Henry's & Basin. UNPAID TEAMS DO NOT ADVANCE TO PLAYOFFS.
-You need 15 games to be eligible for Playoffs. Here is a list of players that
currently (through Week 7) are ineligible for playoffs because of
non-payment or not enough games:

WEEK
6 NEWS:
-For the 2nd straight week in a row, everyone sent
in their stats and got no penalties. Hooray! I think that's an ODC
record.
-Unfortunately, some of you still have not sent in your dues checks. Other
leagues automatically forfeit any points won by a player who isn't paid yet.
Other leagues demand payment before you start the season. We try to
accommodate you but the Week 5 deadline is way past now. Team points are
now held hostage till the ransom is delivered. There is an ODC rule which
says unpaid teams get a big penalty every week they haven't paid yet. I
have yet to enforce it because it would wreck some team's totals, penalize some
innocent team members and I'm a big softy. However, if the delinquencies
continue, next season it will be put into effect.
Teams in red below haven't paid anything
yet. Teams in pink have outstanding
dues/fees. I mean, even Markey's & Rocco's have paid at this point, so the
rest of you in red &
pink need to start writing checks NOW.
The season's nearly over and unpaid teams DO NOT advance to Playoffs or
get any trophies/cash awards.

WEEK
5 NEWS: last week to add
any new players to your roster!
FINAL DEADLINE FOR PAYING PLAYER AND TEAM DUES. ANY UNPAID TEAMS AFTER
WEEK 5 LOSE THEIR TEAM AND COOLNESS POINTS.
-Shot
of the Week goes to new Heaux Bobby Murray for his 180. Honorable
mention to Playboy Gerry Slavin on his 5-Star night.
-Lotsa Luck U made up its postponed Week2 match vs. 45 Tchoup Tchop.
-Wow, no penalties this week! Milan penalty from last week removed due to
stolen bag w/ card in it.
-No more new players may be added to your team.
-Someone asked about straightening boards. You can always straighten the
board BEFORE you start shooting if you think it is crooked. Once
you've started shooting though you must leave it as is.
WEEK
4 NEWS: Shot
of the Week goes to Pirate Ronnie Dalleo's 151 Out (kinda sounds like a
rum shot). Honorable Mention awarded to Playboy Ben Tarantino's
Round of Nine. Several teams/bars still owe dues. Next week is the
final deadline to pay before you start losing points:

WEEK
3 NEWS:
-Last week Ace Chris Hernandez shot a Round of Nine which will
count for Shot of the Week since no one else hit much worth mentioning.
-I regret to announce the recent passing of a dear friend of mine and
former ODC member, Keith Krasnoff. Here's a picture of one of my
first teams with Keith (far right in droogie derby), the Front Page Mahknovists
in 1988. Rest in peace, my brother.

Last week, late scores from Mongrels gets them a retroactive -2 but the Playas
sent in an e-mail error message, saving them from the ax...until this week.
WEEK 2
NEWS: Deadline for $12 Player dues. After Week 2, Player dues are
$15. Bar fee is $30 per team.

who wastes no time hitting the first 180 of the season.
The great city of New Orleans has added more traffic
cameras, so beware.
Notice #2 is right where you get off the I-10 at Florida & Milne when you're
heading to Lotsa Luck & Homedale.

As always, if you faxed or emailed your match scores but find
your team name in the Penalties section, we did not receive your report.
Send Tom your fax confirmation page or your email error message and he'll
credit you your penalty points if it was originally sent before the deadline
(Sat. Midnight after the match). We usually get one or 2 fax transmission
error pages so if you can tell me the time and date you sent it and there is an
error page for then, your penalties will be removed. Make sure you fill
out the Individual Stats section!
