The 10th anniversary of the ODC is right around the corner. Join us for the birthday party at 4 pm on Saturday Dec. 12 at Grit's. We'll have food, drinks (more info later), steeltip fun and dart camaraderie with all your ODC friends. Represent your home bar in the 'Bar Challenge' and win up to 20% discount off your bar's dues next season (details coming soon). Also, I know a lot of you are talented chefs with signature dishes that you make better than anyone else. BAR CHALLENGE RULES: Each bar may send one doubles team from each division (Gold, Sil,Bronze). That team will compete in a Doubles tournament, single elimination. At least 4 teams are required for a division tournament. The winner wins free dues for their team next season.

-Congrats to U Dave Boudousquie on his single-handed 501 victory over hapless opponents Hurricanes Julie Kelley & Lowell Landes.
-Also, a tip of the hat to ODC newcomer Outsider Clint Rosselli on his amazing 21 Star season, leading every division.

WEEK 9 NEWS:

Players from teams with no byes in their division need 15 games in regular season to be eligible for playoffs. 20 for MVP

-Congrats to the Charlie Horses on their 3 man (mostly) win over barmates Just the Tip. Lotsa Luck Da Team also won with only 3 players vs. Henrys.

-This season's Grail Finals will be held at Homedale.

WEEK 8 NEWS: Teams with BYEs in their division only need 12 games to be eligible for playoffs and 16 games to be eligible for MVP.

WEEK 4 NEWS:

-Going to the P.O. Box this morning to look for the last dues checks. If you still haven't paid, your very last chance to not get penalized -10 is to find Eric Belletto (w/ Mick's Manglers) this Tuesday, Week 5, Sept. 22. He's playing at Bruno's (if he shows up). Otherwise mail it asap to the post office box.

-SHOT(s) OF THE WEEK go to Outsider Clint Rosselli (180) & Pirate Mike Labat (R9).
-New weekly penalty system will be instated as of now. If your fax or email doesn't come through (if we don't receive it) you will be given a one week warning notice. If you get your stats in by next week's deadline, you will not be penalized. It is important that you put the date on your cards. This should alleviate some of those "Penalty!? WTF?!" moments but it will surely create stat errors. THIS RULE DOES NOT APPLY TO THE LAST WEEK OR PLAYOFFS. I think most of you will approve of this measure. I KNOW many of you will like the fact I've wiped all penalties for this season.

-Winnin Ugly & Hurricane's have postponed their Week 4 match.
-Bronze 3, I am sorry your season got messed up but we just have to try to make the best of a bad situation and remove all those BYES from your schedule. There was no way to fairly run out the season with all of uneven amounts of matches played and not played.

-We still have lots of teams in the running for the BIGGEST PENALTY EVER! Milan, Rocco's BJ's, Grit's, Homedale & Mick's still have a shot at not getting their dues paid for the Week 5 DEADline. It's -10 for the unlucky teams who forgot to mail their checks by Week 5. It is now Week 4, giving you ONE LAST WEEK. Fair Warning.

-ATTENTION Silver One!!! The Evangeline Who Datz are now MICK'S REFUGEES. Yes they have moved to MICK's. Change your schedules accordingly, please.
-BRONZE DROPOUTS!!! I regret to announce that both the Grit's Joes (Juicers) and the Hobnobber Knobs have dropped out of the Club, unable to field enough players. Please mark the Juicers/Joes as a BYE on your schedules.

-Attention Gold Two! Bruno's has a dress code that prohibits tank tops, sleeveless shirts and caps turned sideways or backwards (I'm not making this up). You also probably have to wear shoes and some form of material covering your genitals.

-Hobnobber did not have enough players to field a team Week 1. Separatists get a 10 forfeit unless this match is rescheduled later.
-Playoff Reminder: whenever you visit a neutral bar, ask the tender if they have a "game board' in the back. They often leave the crappy ones out but retain a new one just for ODC matches. Also, the higher seeded team is considered the "home" team and has to score 1st & last.
-I updated the Members listing with the past year's stats.

As always, if you faxed or emailed your match scores but find your team name in the Penalties section, we did not receive your report.
Send Tom your fax confirmation page or your email error message and he'll credit you your penalty points if it was originally sent before the deadline (Sat. Midnight after the match). We usually get one or 2 fax transmission error pages so if you can tell me the time and date you sent it and there is an error page for then, your penalties will be removed. Make sure you fill out the Individual Stats section!
