These pictures were taken within walking distance of our home. The number of people living downtown is increasing rapidly with 4 large condominium projects underway.
Right - An alley in the Old Market now used for shops and restaurants. It is known as the Passageway.

The Old Market on a busy Saturday night. The area was the produce section of the warehouse district. It is home to many restaurants, bars, theaters, galleries and shops.
Another shot from Heartland of America Park. The park is used for f ree concerts and other events.
A view from our window looking east down Dodge St. during a rainy sunrise. The first two buildings have been converted into a Marriott Hotel. The third building is being converted into upscale condominiums.
