Robert and Maria Louise Nee Protzig Ortmann

Little is known about this couple.  Records from 1855 when their son George Ortmann was baptized indicate that Robert was the "Ducal Gameskeeper here at Judenbach".  They were living in Friedeback house Nr. 12, which was the Gameskeeper's cottage.  A later record notes him as the Chief Gameskeeper.  The couple had two sons and one daughter.  Evidently George was the only one who had children.
