Family Turkey Disguise
Project
To do something different for the month of November, we had a whole family homework assignment. The assignment: take one tagboard turkey and disguise him to keep him safe for Thanksgiving! Not only did the kids need to disguise the turkey, they also had to write a paragraph about why this disguise was good for keeping the turkey safe at this most dangerous time of year for turkeys! And they had to write the paragraph from the turkey's point of view and in his voice. They made some great stories and our window looks great this November! Take a look at the great turkeys we made!
