Meeting Jesus is the most important issue you will face in your life.
As members of the Royal Rangers,
we believe in Jesus Christ as our savior.
It is our desire that you too
will come to know the love of God by surrendering your life to the Lordship of
Jesus Christ. Once you do, you will never be the same again. Instead, you will
personally receive Eternal Life and more promises than you'll ever need
(2 Peter 1:3-4). It is because we have this assurance and are experiencing this life
that it is our prayer that you will share it with us.
(2 Cor. 6:2).

It
doesn't take much time, but this decision will affect you forever. If you feel
like you are ready for this change, you can pray (the word we use to say we talk
to God) using the following steps as a guide:

The A B C 's of Salvation

Admit you are sinner. "for all have sinned..." ~ (Romans 3:23)
|

Believe that Jesus can forgive your sins.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus..." ~ (Acts 16:31)
|

Confess your sins to God. "if we confess our sins..."
~ 1 John 1:9
Here's a sample prayer. You might want to put the same thoughts in your own words:
"Dear Jesus, I believe that
you are God's Son and that you died on the Cross for my sins. I confess am a sinner
and I need to be forgiven. Please forgive me for my sins so I will be washed
clean and acceptable in God's presence. I ask you to come into my life
so I can become a child of God. I now receive you as my Lord and Savior. Thank
you
for forgiving my sins. Thank you for giving me new life. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me strength to follow
you. For You are now my Lord
and my Savior. Amen"

Now What?
There are a few very important things you need to do next.
First, you need to start reading the Bible everyday. Start with the
Gospel of John.
The Bible is God's word, it is both timeless and timely.
Second, you need to start praying everyday.
Read the Lord's Prayer as the example Jesus gives of how to pray:
(Matthew 6:9-15).
When you pray, talk to God simply as you would talk to your best friend. You
can't even tell your best friend some things, but you can tell God anything.
Third, you need to start going to church regularly. Click

Fourth, you need to tell someone
your exciting news! Tell the pastor of the church you start attending.
