Eight years after its beginning in 1998, the Tour De Palm Springs Fun Bike Ride has grown from approximately 400 riders to 8,000 riders this year making it one of the largest cylcing events in the United States! Nearly all proceeds continue to go to youth charities.
A new route challenged the 27 mile riders with a gentle 8 mile climb followed by the same amount of downhill coasting! The town was literally alive with cyclists including five members of our own club, Dennis and Karen Polli and their son, Devon who rode part of the time with Ron & Reina Bolles. Clear blue skies and a temperature range of 62-72 degrees made for a beautiful day of biking!

Nice "biker tattoo"!
Can you tell which fine Palm Springs eatery Ron and Reina had lunch in after the ride?
Hint: it's not in their teeth...
