Regional Elections for DummiesBrought to you Barney Style by Dale Dorris, US2003051545Lemme break it down "Barney Style" Before you do anything, ask yourself, "Am I in a domain?" If the answer is no, you have two (2) options. Become a domain, in which case you may continue following along. Stay a chapter, in which case don't vote. If the answer is yes, proceed with the instructions. 1. Become a DC. 1a. A computer is very handy, if you don't have one, hire an ADC (Assistant Domain Coordinator) who has one, preferably one that has internet access, and preferably e-mail and an internet browser. (The region has a website that has a good deal of useful information regarding the Camarilla.) 2. Subscribe to a mailing list that will announce a voting process for an election. 3. When the elections are called, usually its announced over one or more of the lists. (This also requires paying attention) 4. Instructions for all DC's should be included in that e-mail, or e-mails following. 5. Follow those instructions. 6. Get to know the candidates. (There are usually several) 7. You will receive further instructions on how to vote for the candidate you want to become RC. 8. This part may be a little confusing, but hold on there. Vote. (for further clarification, refer to this URL for an online dictionary is http://www.dictionary.com , if you not down with technology, check Webster's Dictionary (If you don't have that either, there is a city building called a library)) 9. The following instruction may be a little difficult. Wait for the results. (This requires patience) 10. When you receive the results, that means it has the name of the winner. (*note: the person elected might not be the person you voted for.)
