THE CREW

Outside the city of Shangrila to the South the road leads into the Great Desert where the Death Toll Motorcycle club has made its home right on the borders of the Badlands. The Death Toll bikers are a group of rough men and a small number of chicks. Though there are very few women in the Toll they are not to be thought of lightly and can take care of themselves. The men and women in this camp can be quiet or wild, sadistic and vicious, or laid back and friendly. They can be hard or have their soft spots. There is no stereotype. They share the love of the open road, their bikes and a rejection of the social norm.

Death Toll is welcoming to new bikers who are passing through the desert on their way here or there. Guests are welcome to pitch a tent or whatever in the camping grounds of the camp.

Although the founder of Death Toll was the necromancer Taker, he has long since left the camp. This lead to a very unusual situation in an outlaw biker club, a female came to hold the leadership of the gang. Fiercely loyal to the club Baby keeps things running and wheels and deals. There are some who believe the Toll actually consider Baby to be more of a mascot than a leader, a girl with one foot in the cage. It cannot be disputed, however, that by whatever means she has the loyalty of the Toll and they follow this strange little pixie of a girl who looks like an angel and does everything else like a demon!

The Biker Camp can be a very violent place. The members of the Death Toll are all capable of loosing tempers and swinging punches even on each other. Baby would be hard pressed to control such situations. Thus the one to keep order in the club very often has to be the strongest and probably capable of the most brutality. The Death Toll Sergeant at Arms is Kruegan. He keeps the boys in line and from killing each other, keeps the "edge" on the party and makes sure the slaves don't get too relaxed.

In the environment of the game itself there are members of the club, prospective members and associates or friends of the club as well as guest in the camp, camp bitches and caged slaves. The players who join the camp in any of the above roles come and go. Some are there as regular fixtures, some play for a few months or a few days and vanish, never to return or to return spasmodically. Therefore, no comprehensive list of characters exists on this site. However, in the main yard of the camp there is code that allows anyone to see a list of player character who are members of the Toll (+bikers). Information is available on these characters by doing a +finger <name>.

In addition to player characters there are NPCs (Non Player Characers), which are available for players to emit where, required.
