Here's the schedule for this year's curriculum nights.
This is the first social event of the year. Join us for ice
cream, snow cones, door prizes and more. Get reacquainted with old friends and
make some new ones. This annual event is organized by a seasonal committee, led
again this year by Michelle Castellano, Maria Piccirilli, and Laura Radford,
which began planning during the summer and will complete arrangements during the
first month of school. Volunteers are needed to help plan the event, set up,
clean up, and assist during the event.
This is a new event! We will be have a Pumpkin Patch, and
our new Dads Club will be having a Pancake Breakfast so families can buy
pumpkins and join us for breakfast!
We will have a lot of pumpkins to pick from, just in time
for the annual Pumpkin Walk!
This is a community service project for the entire school.
One or more needy families in the Chandler
area will be identified as needing assistance. Paloma families will have the
opportunity to share our abundance by donating clothing items, canned foods, or
pick a Holiday Angel with a gift request to donate to a little one. The families
will also receive a Christmas
tree complete with ornaments (compliments of the kids on Holiday Fun Day).
This event is in need of a coordinator and volunteers.
Complete details are posted on the
Reflections page. The entry deadline
is January 8, 2004 and a recognition event will be held January 27, 2004.
New this year, a FIESTA! We will be giving our carnival a
new twist, including new booths, rides, food and a raffle with great prizes!
This event is organized by a seasonal committee, led this year by Rosa Lathrop.
The PTA will be sponsoring a read-a-thon during TV Turn-off Week. This
is a great opportunity to replace television with literature and will
also raise money for literacy at Paloma. For more information, see the
Fundraising Page.
This event is organized by a seasonal committee, led this year by
Beth Doney.
