They Call the Wind Mariah
A subtle breeze
can refresh you
on a hot summer day
but that same breeze can chill you to the bone
in the
cold, dead of winter.
A stronger breeze
will push the sea, the snow, the
sand,
the leaves upon the trees and the clouds up in the sky
and these
clouds, like chameleons, transform their shape and size
as she urges them
along.
When angry her ominous might and power are limitless
with her
hurricanes, tornadoes, monsoons...
and like God of the Old Testament
she
feels pity for no one,
and will destroy everything in her path.
Like a
goddess herself,
she is omnipotent and omnipresent.
