No Relief

"Beware" your mother calls to you when you go out to play
Don't forget to "watch your step" and stay out of its way.

It lurks among the flowers, the bushes, trees and trails,
and innocently hides itself, like a bride beneath her veil.

Its nasty leaves will leave you scratching for some time.
It bubbles and it itches.  It should be judged a crime.

Keep alert. Be on the watch for this nasty leaf,
from the itch of Poison Ivy there isn't much relief.
