Today

Today the sea was calm…like glass
   I swear that this is true

Today the sun shown its head
  And changed the sky to blue

Today I saw a flock of geese
  Honking as they flew

Today a seal sunned on the beach
  Wow! This is something new

Today the waves were eight feet tall
  An awesome frightening view

Today, each day,
  Brings sounds and sights anew
