Hi! and welcome to "The Parrot Affair." I am Linda and will tell you a little about how we got started with the birds.  I was cleaning houses for a living when one of my clients asked me if I would be interested in buying her bird.  I thought about it and decided my sons had never had a bird so I said yes. She was a Lutino Cockatiel and what a delight!  We all fell in love and decided it would be great to have another one.  Then [ as it goes] we thought about having a breeder pair so before we knew it we were buying breeders.

I began handfeeding the babies and I cant tell you what great pleasure it brought to my life.  We then got some Senegal breeders and from then on I was on my way to a life of Birds.  I then started doing Bird Fairs to sell my babies. Before long I started taking a few toys and then added cages and now I also  Wholesale ZuPreem to the public. We now travel to many states and are one of the largest Vendors.  I have been doing Bird Fairs for 16 yrs and raising birds for 20 yrs. My mom was by far the best encouragement I could have ever had in getting the Fairs going. She did the Shows with me for many years but has quit now as she gets too tired but she still helps me handfeed and clean cages. She is 83 yrs young.

Let me tell you that the more birds we got the more we came to realize that they are the smartest of all the creatures. They enter with this world with much gusto and noise, then begin chewing up everything they can get a claw or a beak into.  They are Loud, Opinionated, and obnoxious and at the same time so very entertaining and loving.  I am sorry I didn't know birds were so great earlier in my life.  My birds get to try out most all styles of toys that I order for the fairs so I guess you could say they are my quality control. We do around 30 shows a year so keep your eye open for us at a show near you. My son Del and my man Gorman are always with me so come talk to us at the show.  See you there!!!
