A School for even the most unique children... Children enrolled in our full-time Community Schooling program spend a few hours a day on the computer to fulfill their academic credit and the rest of their time volunteering in the community in a curriculum of their choosing. Parents involved in the program are encouraged to meet regularly and help each other as part of this unique Group Parenting Initiative. Participants can volunteer as a teachers in our drop-in center during the day or take part in a variety of community service projects as part of our after-school program.

An Interactive and Self-Guided Curriculum allows kids and families to choose subject matters that are most important to them and work at a pace that is most comfortable everyone involved.

This allows for Traditions and Individual Needs to be given first priority and provide an education that compliments the needs and values of every family.

Statistics You Should Know... Music, Theatre and Art Programs are being removed from our schools, books are being taken out of our libraries... No Child Left Behind has short-changed our School System by $25Billion... State and Federal Governments spent $25Billion in six months on the Drug War... There are government programs that allow parents to enlist children in the military as young as twelve... Want to know more???

Feeling Trapped? Our Full-Time Community School involves kids in a curriculum that they choose, therefore it is sure to interest them and keep them involved in their own learning process. Kids that do not wish to drop out of their current school are welcome to take part in any of our after-school activities. So there isn’t even any obligation to stay involved, participation in our learning groups is entirely voluntary.

Giving Kids a Voice... Community Schooling allows our children to express themselves through involvement in their community. Parents involved in the program know exactly what is going on with their children because they are involved in every aspect of the learning process.

Are you tired of handing your children over? Students can withdraw from public school entirely or take part in a variety of after-school events and festivities. Volunteers come from our Merchant/Artist Co-Op, so the teachers will be people that the parents know and associate with on a regular basis. This also creates opportunities for skilled individuals to volunteer their time towards the betterment of their community without having to rely on a system of strangers and paperwork.
