Our group is growing ever-so-slowly and steadily, which is good because this means that our expenses have yet to outweigh our income.

This means, however, that since Ministries are all volunteer organizations that we need Your Help in order to get any bigger.

If you are in the Cleveland Area and interested in helping out, we are in need of volunteers for the following projects:

Sanctuary Space

Caring Network

Class Cutters

We are in need of friendly, caring people willing to share the sanctuary space with us between the hours of 8-5 Monday thru Friday so that we can operate the drop-in center.

Operating the Sanctuary Space means getting to know people, pouring the occasional cup of coffee and attending the occasional luncheon, late-night breakfast or rock concert.

If you have any other marketable skills, you may be asked to share that skill with others, but this is not a requirement.

The idea behind the sanctuary is that it will function as the hub for a Caring Network spanning the city of Cleveland, a place where anyone can come for any kind of assistance or refuge.

Current Projects Include:

  • funding, staffing and supplies for sanctuary space
  • supplies & funding for generally random acts of kindness & caring
  • luncheons & banquets for a variety of speakers and performances

Class Cutters is our up-in-coming Youth Program & Community School which encourages responsible party habits, civic improvement and support of the arts community. Entire families are asked to participate, as this is a Group Parenting initiative.

Parents are encouraged to get together often through Ministry Functions so that kids and families learn and grow together through trust and friendship.

A lesson plan can be found at our Yahoo!Group.

Current Projects Include:

  • Trips to local zoos, amusement parks, theatres, libraries, museums and other places of interest.
  • Vocational education and community service opportunities within the city of Cleveland.
  • We'd eventually like to sponsor our own Little League, Soccer Team and Bowling

Co-Operatives

Merchant Showcase

Car Co-Op

Merchanting, Teaching and Brigadooning will be a primary source of income for this project and we are in need of individuals willing to share their time and skills towards putting together a traveling merchant showcase for community festivals and fairs.

The Ministry offers to organize and pay for large spaces for us to share, merchants will be responsible for their own inventories and asked to either donate a portion of their income or pay a flat rate towards ministry functions--whichever is easiest for the merchant.

When not attending fairs and festivals, merchants that contribute to ministry functions will be allowed to use the drop-in center to teach classes and sell select merchandise.

Current Projects Include:

  • Acquisition/Construction of an Art Bus and/or Trailer/Camper in for use with camping trips and festivals.
  • Acquisition/Construction of circus-style tent to serve as temporary open-air venue during ministry functions.

The ministry vehicle is available by appointment for all of your transportation needs. If others volunteer their own vehicles to be part of the co-op, it can also assist them in paying off their own cars.

Brother Pateticus can also be reached via Email to arrange for rides and act as a designated driver.

As a group, we attend regular luncheons at the following locations:

  • Mondays at the Zoo
  • Tuesdays at the Museum
  • Wednesdays at the Library
  • Thursdays Art & Music Share
  • Fridays Pizza & Movies

We also plan regular car pools to a variety of hotspots for night-time & weekend fun, so please join our Mailing List.
