Coping for children and teenagers ages 5-16 who are adjusting to changes in family life due to death, divorce or separation.
Children/teens are placed in age appropriate groups and guided in activities designed to help them express feelings about their experience. (Siblings will not be placed in the same small group.)
The focus of the six-week series is to enhance the self-esteem of each participant and as a result help each begin to adjust to changes in his/her family.
OMAHA
Summer Session*: Wednesdays - June 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2009 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm
St. Patrick - Elkhorn, 20500 W Maple Road, Elkhorn, NE
Pre-registration is required for the children's program.
*Note: Adult session will be offered at the same time.

"It's OK to cry. If you have a problem don't be afraid to talk about it."

"When I needed coping sessions they were there. It is so good to have something for my children now."

"These sessions were very beneficial. My children need help too during such a time as this."
Pre-registration is required. Suggested donation is $10 for all six sessions for one child or $15 for two or more children. No one will be turned away because of inability to pay.
